The purpose of this course is to train students in basic manipulative skills, safety judgments, proper work habits
and desirable attitude necessary for an entry-level position in massage and/or related careers. This course consists
of 750 clock hours of study in both theory and practical skill development that is required for licensing by the
Washington State Department of Health & Licensing as well as meeting certification requirements for Board
Certification through National certification board of therapeutic massage and bodywork (NCBTMB).
